Job Description
The Marketing Manager will supervise 2 Product Managers based in the UK and Germany and can be based at one of the company sites (Brighton and Kassel) or work from home anywhere in Europe.He or she will lead strategic initiatives to guide product development and identify new markets industry sectors and regions. Candidates must have experience of this. We want this to become a global role but there’s some flexibility about this – eg if a candidate has European experience only then we could develop them to a larger role.Our client is looking for someone ambitious with the potential to go on to more senior roles. This is a great opportunity for someone to work in a small fast-paced team; they will have a chance to make a significant impact which can be used as a career springboard.Candidates must have:Good overall marketing experience Potential company leader general manager Good strategic skills and contributed to shaping a company’s strategic decisions to grow sales. Technical experience but not necessarily our industry (low-cost electronics) Customer experience including end users OEMs and distributors Experience of launching new products Market segmentation experience Sees and understands competitors Marcoms experience is preferable Some experience of people management Language skills: 2 or 3. German preferably. Location can be EU. Preferable at Brighton or Kassel sites.
